Today spare a thought for queenie's favourite portrait artist, and Esther Rantzen's colleague in anti child abuse campaigning, Rolf Harris, who is in the headlines again.
Apparently, Rolf Harris' daughter, Bindi, is writing a book, with the aim of restoring her father's unfairly maligned reputation.
Hopefully, this will happen as soon as possible!
That way, Rolf can quickly return to making more anti child abuse videos, like 'Kids Say No'.
In the 1980s, Harris "[approached the] NSPCC and the TAVISTOCK CLINIC with his idea about making a film on child sexual abuse ...
"Kids Can Say No ... was filmed on HAMPSTEAD HEATH ...
"CHILDWATCH, a charitable organisation [ESTHER RANTZEN], donated £15,000 [for the film] ...
The script "was reviewed and approved by a NSPCC committee".
Childwatch, incidentally, was Esther Rantzen's vehicle for launching her beloved Childline hotline - which gave child victims of sexual abuse a way of confiding terrible secrets in a trustworthy adult, like herself.
