Dr. Len (right).

Hawaiian psychologist Dr. Hew Len reportedly "healed an entire hospital of mentally ill criminals without ever having interviewed a single patient.

"He focused on healing himself and, miraculously, it ended up transforming an entire hospital of both staff and patients!"

"Zero Limits" Book Review by Scott Mowry

Dr. Hew Len is a teacher of Ho'oponopono, which dates back centuries in Hawaii and beyond.

Ho'oponopono corrects, restores and maintains good relationships.

The basis of Dr. Hew Len's Ho'oponopono is that in order to make changes, and create miracles, you must take responsibility for everything in the world.

According to Hew Len, everything exists as a projection from inside the human being. [45]

How can you be responsible for 9/11 or the French Revolution?

Dr. Hew Len believes that we are responsible for everything that we experience; our minds, shaped by our present life and past lives, creates our world.

In order for things to improve, you must take total responsibility for everything in the world.

To get the power to change things for the better, Dr. Hew Len instructs that you repeatedly say to the 'Divine':

"I am sorry," "please forgive me," "thank you," and "I love you."

"Problems that show up in our lives are merely reminders of old 'memories' that need to be healed.

"And the memories are ancient as well, having been passed down through generations of our families and ancestors. And we pick up memories like we do viruses."

...

Dr. Hew Len was asked about the healing of the mentally ill criminals.

"What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?"

"'I was simply healing the part of me that created them,' he said.

"Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life - simply because it is in your life - is your responsibility.

"In a literal sense the entire world is your creation."

Dr. Len's story

  ....

Excerpt from "Zero Limits" by Joe Vitale and Dr. Hew Len.

Dr. Len's story

The psychologist Dr. Hew Len would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness.

As he improved himself, the patient improved.

Dr. Len never saw patients.

He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself.

As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.

Dr. Len's story

"After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely," he told me.

"Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed." I was in awe. "Not only that," he went on, "but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared.

"'What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?'

"I was simply healing the part of me that created them," he said...

"If you want to cure anyone - even a mentally ill criminal - you do it by healing you.

"I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files?

"I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again," he explained...

"Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, your improve your world..."

I thought I'd write about what appears to be minor blips and glitches in life, and how even those can be cleared through Ho'oponopono too. In addition, they are often interrelated to other seemingly bigger issues where innate harmony and well-being are yearning to be restored. A friend of a... Continue reading
