Incident: Attempted Murder/Shooting
Date of Incident: March 31, 2018
Location: 800-Block of Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland
Suspect: Black male, approximately 5’7-5’9, stocky/heavyset build, with large forehead
On Saturday, March 31, 2018 at approximately 1350 hours, Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a storage facility located in the 800- Block of Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland 21804 in reference to a shooting. Upon the deputies’ arrival, they located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim told deputies he had arrived at the storage facility and was approached by the suspect. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim. As the victim attempted to escape the suspect, the suspect gave chase and shot the victim. The victim was able to run to the storage facility office and summon help. The victim was transported to PRMC, where he was treated for his injuries. The victim was later released from PRMC.
The suspect is described as a black male, medium height, with a large forehead, stocky to heavyset build, wearing dark clothing. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot in the area of E. Lincoln Avenue near Hayes Avenue.
