news-today.world | A “Taking Back Our Community” opioid forum will be held on May 3, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the West Side Fire Department at 21045 Nanticoke Rd., Bivalve, MD. This is the fourth in a series of community forums being held around the county to share with residents what is happening at the county level to combat the opioid crisis in Wicomico County. Community members will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and share what they feel needs to be done.

This event includes a free Naloxone training for community members ages 18 and older, immediately following the community discussion. Those completing the training will be given a Naloxone kit.

The opioid crisis has touched the lives of many in our community. The public is encouraged to be part of the solution to the opioid situation in Wicomico County by participating in this forum.
