Wicomico Department of Emergency Services will be using the 9-1-1 for kids program. The presentations will take place during the months of March, April and May.

Monica Dietz- Training Coordinator for Wicomico Department of Emergency Services 911 Center states “ We are very excited to provide 9-1-1 education to this age group again this year, successful public education programs often begin in schools with students carrying what they have learned home to family members, neighbors, friends and new acquaintances. It’s a great opportunity to educate and let kids know that we (the call takers) will be there to help them during an emergency and not to be scared. “
