The most read posts this month were ...
1. Theresa May's Looming Brexit Disaster
2. The Grotesque Chaos of Claire Kober's Haringey
3. Lies, Damned Lies, and Tory Politics
4. The Brexit Dream Team Delusion
5. Labour Councils and Party Discipline
This is quite gratifying. All politics commentators are conceited because they assume there are people who want to read their outpourings on, well, politics. While ably assisted this month by the guest post from David Osland (in at two), it's my stuff on the Tories that have done the business. I've just begun some serious "proper" work on this subject informed by the theories and arguments developed here over the years, so we'll see how that goes. In the mean time, in case you missed Tuesday night's foray into this territory, if you would like an outline of how the crisis in the Tory party is a) the culmination of processes set in train decades ago, and b) is making capital in general politically homeless. Here, take a look.
Yes, I also know it's been fairly quiet round these parts as the rate of posting has slowed down. As most of you aren't bloggers, I'm sure you don't need me to tell you having evenings free of keyboard bashing is quite relaxing. Therefore no promises that the rate is about to pick up, unless the pace of events speed up.
Lastly, one more item before I go. It's customary to pick out another piece for you to glance over lest you missed it first time round, and February's pick is Fully Automated Luxury Communism.
