news-today.world | WASHINGTON (WJLA) — Venus Iraheta pleaded guilty on Monday to the murder of 15-year-old Damaris Rivas of Montgomery County whose body was found in Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, Virginia, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, authorities said.

Officials believe Rivas may have been with gang members in Fairfax County before her death.

According to police, in January 2017, Rivas was held against her will, taken to Lake Accotink Park assaulted, then killed and left in an industrial area nearby.
