My name is Jim and I found your news site thru a google search. I am writing to you about an encounter that a family member of mine had last week over email and phone contact with an Officer with the Fruitland Police Department. Last Week my family member made contact with someone at Fruitland Police Department in regards to have a friend checked on since this person does not answer his phone and its been a few days since they have last talked so that led my family member into thinking there was something wrong. So an Officer Mills made contact with my family member saying that her friend is ok but he does not want to be bothered by her again and she will be charged if she was to try again to make contact with him or his family. The following night my family member got a telephone call from an Officer Mills of the Fruitland Police Department and in the voicemail the Fruitland Officer cursed at her and called her a dumb c**t. I have emailed a number of people including Sheriff Mike Lewis, Chief Michael Phillips of the Fruitland Police Department, and a Lt. Brian Swafford of the Fruitland Police Department in regards to this matter earlier this week and have not received any responses. I will be taking this further if I have too.
