news-today.world | A Christian teacher, suspended for “misgendering” a student is now taking his argument to court, saying that he shouldn’t be forced into accepting the new transgender ideology.
In November, Joshua Sutcliffe was summoned to a formal disciplinary hearing for misconduct after he accidentally misgendered a student. He wanted to praised a group of hard working students and said, “Good job, girls!” but one of the students, who identifies as transgender, took offence. When he was corrected by the student, Sutcliffe apologized to the student who wanted to be referred to as a male. The student later told his mother, who went on to file the a complaint.
Sutcliffe, who in addition to being a teacher is also an evangelical pastor, said that his resultant suspension from the English school in Oxfordshire is “political correctness gone mad.”
