Publishers Notes: Here's exactly what happened. Aaron (Bull) Hudson wrote TWO tickets that evening. One for Station 1-13 and the other for Allen FD. When the Fireman found out they had been ticketed they went downstairs from the Council Meeting to investigate, pulled the ticket off the fire truck and saw it was for real.
At the time Sheriff Mike Lewis pulled into the parking lot in which the firefighter showed Mike the ticket and Mike CONFIRMED it was real and stated they would have to pay the $35.00 fine as instructed on the ticket. The firefighter then said to Mike that he was afraid of his vehicle getting towed and Mike told them that wouldn't happen, you just need to pay the fine but leave the ticket on the windshield, in which the firefighter placed it back on the window.
They then sent one firefighter down to keep an eye on the fire truck just to make sure it didn't get towed. At that time Aaron (Bull) Hudson returned to the fire trucks, removed both tickets and placed his finger to his mouth suggesting HUSH, don't say anything.
Clearly the Mayor caught a boat load of crap once it was published on SBYNews and instructed the tickets be removed, hence his now claiming to one of our viewers to show him the citation.
Jake Day is simply a child in a man's job. He will say and do whatever it takes to cover up his spitefulness towards the County and VOLUNTEER Firefighters. Now you have the facts and the truth. Sheriff Mike Lewis, (if asked) can confirm the truth on this matter.
