It seems the Boy Mayor has what us seniors call, select memory. When it comes to the fire service, this is the map Executive Culver delivered and Day agreed upon. Boundaries were in fact agreed upon and mapped out, (on the record) but Day denies recalling anything of the sort.
It's been reported Salisbury Fire Departments have been seriously slacking and frankly the County Volunteers are sick and tired of having to race into the City to help them out while the City refuses to back up the County calls. We're told the SFD is lagging by up to 18 minutes on any given call. So much for saving lives and giving a damn about their community.
Ladies & Gentlemen, do NOT pay any attention to your local media about this matter. They are purposely trying to make Day look like a Saint in this matter and as much and often as Culver tries to deliver the media evidence, they refuse to correct their false statements.
