This has been quite a tough year for Zari Hassan who faced the loss of her ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga a few months ago and just before the wounds of his loss healed, her mother also passed away this month.
“It’s with deep sorrow that my family and I announce the death of our lovely mother who passed on this morning. May her soul rest in peace, May Allah forgive you your sins and grant you Jana.You will forever be loved our Old Sun, us as your kids were given the best from God as our mother. We appreciate all you did for us. We will forever cherish you Mama.Sleep well,” Zari broke the news through social media last week.

One can just imagine the pain Zari is going through at the moment, she however mustered up the strength to pen this humble and appreciative message to her supportive family, friends and fans.
“My family and I would like to extend our gratitude towards everyone who has been here during this trying time after the passing on of our beloved Mother Ms Halima Hassan. May you be blessed more by the Almighty for your kind hearts.Thank you Sleep well mama, till we meet again,” she wrote.
