Domestic violence continues to rear it’s ugly head despite efforts by the government and various organizations.

Jackline Mwende, the whose hands were chopped off because for being barren, continues to receive sympathy from Kenyans.

In his defense, the man identified as Stephen Ngila said Mwende was cheating on him as she had been seen with a Somali man.

Days later, Stephen was arrested and released after a week on a Sh200,000 bond.

The case was heard on February 27 and according to sources, the man has been spending time in jail as he waits for his sentence.

Apparently, his tribulations didn’t serve as a lesson to other men as cases of domestic violence continue to increase.

A video has surfaced online showing a Luhya man beating a lady and it has elicited strong reactions from Kenyans.

In the video, the man is heard saying that he had warned her before throwing punches to the subdued woman.

The incident is believed to have occurred in a bar and revelers are heard threatening that they will report him to the authorities.

However, their pleas fall on deaf ears as he continues to beat her up while boasting that he is a man and she’s a lady.

To drive his point home, the man is seen head-butting the woman many times.

When she could not stand the beating anymore, she grabbed his *** and refused to let go of it.
