Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 12 July 2017
Location: 9000 block of Wallertown Road, Mardela Springs, MD
Suspect: Timothy Roger McCourry, 50, Mardela Springs, MD
Narrative: On 12 July 2017 at 11:48 PM a deputy arrested Timothy McCourry following an allegation of an assault. According to the victim in this case, McCourry pushed her into a door and then left the residence after taking the victim’s keys.
McCourry was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained McCourry in the Detention Center on a bond of $10,000.00.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree and Theft under $100.00

Location: 6000 block of Twelve Oaks Drive, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Tanyanika Waynette Lewis, 44, Hebron, MD
Narrative: On 13 July 2017 at 4:32 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Twelve Oaks Drive for the purpose of locating a wanted fugitive from South Carolina. Authorities in that state wanted Tanyanika Lewis in connection with a Forgery case.
Lewis was located and taken into custody as a Fugitive from South Carolina. Following an initial appearance in front of a District Court Commissioner, Lewis was detained without bond pending extradition back to South Carolina.
