Loss is not an easy thing to deal especially when it happens suddenly. A few months ago, celebrated Mombasa based actor lost his wife, Druscillah Walowe Mngoda alias Dru Sonko, in the most heartbreaking set of events.

Dan Sonko had rushed is wife to hospital to deliver their second born child during which things took a turn for the worst. His wife developed complications causing her to go through an Emergency Caesarean Section. Apparently Dru’s body was unable to create any platelets following weak brain signals to the rest of her organs. Just minutes after giving birth to her son, Darrell, she was immediately admitted to the ICU. Unfortunately Dru lost her life after putting up a brave fight.

well another Kenyan man, Victor Maina is mourning the loss of his wife, Alice Maina after she passed away on 7th July after developing complications after giving birth to triplets, Kiama, Thayu and Gakenia.

“The love of my life is gone. Alice Maina I will always love you to the moon and back hun. Our triplets will know you loved them and sang for them every day since birth. I will not let you down,” heart broken Victor wrote on social media.

Alice will be laid to rest on Friday.
