The Authority Is looking for competent, dynamic, energetic, committed, experienced and well qualified Tanzanian who is capable of embracing and driving change in BUWASA to fill
the following vacant posts.
Assistant Procurement Officer – 1 Post
Required Qualifications And Experience
A Diploma in the following field Civil/Water Resources
Engineering/Procurement and Logistics Management from Recognized Institutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Counter checks stocks purchase invoices before they are forwarded for payment.
Maintaining file records of stocks prices, suppliers, lists,specifications, catalogues and other information.
Preparing stocks purchase bid documents.
Obtaining quotations for goods and services after approval for procurement has been obtained.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Head of Procurement Management Unity
Electrical Engineer (1 Post) Re-Advertised
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Electrical/Electro-mechanical Engineering from recognized University/Institution and registered with Engineers Registration Board of Tanzania with 3 years of working experience in Electrical plants and machinery. Demonstrate PC/Software skills including working knowledge of Office and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and SCADA systems for plant control, Strong technical and operations experience in MCC, VFD and soft starters. Must possess the ability to read comprehend and apply information found in operating and equipment manuals be able to read and respond computer-generated data instrumentation, gauges, readouts and variation in colors

Receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, balancing and In stocktaking of stocks.
Timely and accurate recording of stocks receipts, storage re and issue records.
Reporting of items which have reached re-order levels.
Proper house keeping of stores and stock yards.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Procurement and Supplies Officer.
Operation and Maintenance Engineer – 1 Post
Required Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Civil /Sanitary/Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/Institution and registered with Engineers Registration Board of Tanzania
Three years of working experience as an engineer in planning, design and construction of water supply and sewerage networks.
Computer literacy is a must and knowledge of AUTO CAD is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Non Revenue Reduction In charge.
Assign duties and responsibilities and Job description immediate subordinates and ensuring maximum utility of all departmental staff
Give timely information to the Technical Manager/Management on an event of any
breakdown(s).
Prepare weekly, monthly and maintenance and repair activities.
Perform any other duties as directed by Technical Manager.
