After spending all the money he had acquired from selling a piece of land in Nyeri, a man decided to commit suicide.
The said man is believed to have sold a piece of land for Sh300,000 before he went missing for about two weeks.
The family members had spent nights looking for him. However the Grapevine got information that the man was just in the nearby town spending the money with ladies.
When reports reached him that his family members were after him, on his ‘last day’, he decided to commit suicide.
Neighbours attribute the death to shame, claiming the man was at a loss as to how he could explain the expenditure to his family.
